Laika III is a remote human colony world. In 2558, a Forerunner Guardian construct attacked a city on the planet.[1]

Guardian attack
On October 28, 2558, a Forerunner Guardian was activated, emerging and causing immense devastation in New Hedmark, a city with an estimated population of 100,000 people.[1]
