YPSILON-class Mjolnir, or Mk. IV/Y, is a MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor helmet variant, designed for the MJOLNIR Mark IV platform.[1]

Overview[edit]

Design details[edit]

The Ypsilon helmet is fitted with a low-profile VISR prototype and is compatible with the Project SYCAMORE attachment, which consists of a hardened life support upgrade kit and sensor suite.[2]

Development history[edit]

The Ypsilon helmet was developed by the Office of Naval Intelligence's Materials Group for use with the MJOLNIR Mark IV platform. Some aspects of the helmet's low-profile VISR prototype were later recommended for integration with Mark V and Mark VI helmets.[1]

Usage[edit]

Spartan-IIs field tested the Ypsilon helmet extensively, providing feedback to Materials Group.[1] The Project SYCAMORE attachment was worn with Ypsilon helmets by Spartans assigned to field-test the SYCAMORE bioweapon package against Covenant targets.[2]

In-game information[edit]

Halo Infinite[edit]

The Ypsilon helmet is available for multiplayer Spartan armor customization in Halo Infinite.
