Soma was an inhabitant of Wharftown, a small settlement on the planet Seaward. She had moved to the planet out of a desire to live away from her people's high-tech society, and eschewed the use of body armor and life-support in favor of a naturalistic lifestyle. She enjoyed painting with a jetbrush.
In approximately 100,300 BCE, at age 417, Soma witnessed the landing of the first known Flood invasion since the Human-Flood war while painting the setting of Seaward's two suns.
