Sergeant Lian Devereaux is an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper of the 10th Shock Troops Battalion who served in the post-Human-Covenant War era.
In January 2553, she and two other ODSTs, Malcolm Geffen and Vasily Beloi, were hand-picked by the Office of Naval Intelligence to serve under Captain Serin Osman during a diplomatic mission to Sanghelios.[1]

- Based her accent, Malcolm Geffen surmised she was from northeast Canada. This combined with her surname suggests French-Canadian descent. Her appearance indicates Asian ancestry.[2]
