The same piece can be heard in the Halo 3 track Brutes. From about 1:10 to 1:50, you can hear the chant from the beginning of the Halo Theme .
Other Appearances
On the Halo 2: Original Soundtrack, part of this tune is used in the first half of the track Heretic, Hero. In the Halo 3 Soundtrack, "No More Dead Heroes" is a remake of this song. The main theme of this song is also used in Honorable Intentions.
Origin of Title
- The title is likely based on Cortana's quote during the bridge scene on the Autumn, "With all due respect Captain, this war has enough dead heroes."
