Lieutenant Betters was the bridge weapons officer for the UNSC Destroyer Gorgon, the first UNSC vessel armed with a Magnetic Accelerator Cannon, commanded by Captain Preston Cole.[1] Betters was present for numerous engagements with Insurrectionist forces, including three skirmishes with the Bellicose.
