When the Flood began actively attacking the Forerunner military at the Forerunner core systems during the Forerunner-Flood War, the Emergency Circumstance Fleet along with the Suppression Fleet and the Security Fleet were ordered by Forerunner Fleet Command to defend the core systems. It is most likely that this fleet was eventually overrun by the Flood and destroyed.
