The F99 Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle is a carrier-based air combat vehicle used by the UNSC Air Force. It was used at least in the defence of Mombasa during the First Battle of Earth in late October 2552.

- The fighter was originally going to be featured in Halo 3 under the name "F99 Wombat", but didn't appear until Halo 3: ODST.[1] It was featured in the Art of Halo 3 book.[2] It wasn't actually officially named the Wombat, but was just a joke referring to the fighter's designation.
- The vehicle also appears as a silhouette on a nearby ship in Longshore.[3]
