Description
The weapon is capable of launching multiple explosive plasma bolts in a quick succession, and seems to be able to home in to its target to some degree, making this gun the Covenant match to the Missile Pod. The plasma bolts seem to funtion like a Plasma Grenade, although less strong. It has an appearance similiar to the Halo: CE Fuel Rod gun.[1][2]
Trivia
- This weapon may fill the void for the primary Covenant heavy weapon, with the unknown status of the Type-25 Grenade Launcher and the Type-33 Light Anti-Armor Weapon being included in Halo: Reach.
- The sound file for the weapon was first released in the Bungie Weekly Update 1/29/10, with the title "Mystery Weapon".[3]
