[[Dr. Catherine Halsey]] had an office in CASTLE Base, as did [[Colonel James Ackerson]]. The [[Spartan]]s were present at CASTLE Base many times. They were very familair with the place. During [[The Battle of Reach]], this was Spartan Team "Delta"'s fallback position. [[Spartan-043|William-043]], [[Spartan-030|Vinh-030]] and [[Spartan-039|Isaac-039]] arrived here. They were soon accompanied by [[Spartan-104|Fredric-104]] and [[Spartan-087|Kelly-087]]. It turned out that Dr. Halsey was left in the base as well in order to activate [[Operation: WHITE GLOVE]] to prevent the [[Covenant]] from getting [[UNSC]] [[technology]].
