Enough Dead Heroes is a piece included in the Halo: Original Soundtrack.

Summary

This song serves as the background music for the entire bridge cutscene on the level Pillar of Autumn, and the piece playing from 0:35 to 1:08 is often heard when you encounter Hunters, notably on the level Truth and Reconciliation, where they are first encountered. The same piece can be heard in the Halo 3 track Brutes.

It runs for 3:02.

On the Halo 2: Original Soundtrack, part of this tune is used in the first half of the track Heretic, Hero. In the Halo 3 Soundtrack, "No More Dead Heroes" is a remake of this song. The main theme of this song is also used in Honorable Intentions.

Trivia

  • The title is likely based on Cortana's quote during the bridge scene on the Autumn, "With all due respect Captain, this war has enough dead heroes."
