Concact Harvest contradicts this.

Yeah, it says on page 269-270 thet they were worms on a gas giant's ring that ate Forerunner tech (the ring was really 'crumbs' of something they ate). The Taming refered to when it was suggested they could be trained to eat around the Forerunner artifacts for reclamation reasons.--Sandwichman2449 22:12, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

It has never been suggested in CH that this was their taming, it has been repeatedly said it was during their attempt to bring them into covenant, for that power along with their mineral rich world. --Ajax 013 22:21, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
