Template:Ratings Template:Planet Arcadia is a United Nations Space Command colony located in the Procyon System.[1] A "tropical paradise", it was a popular destination for tourists[2] and received many shipments from Harvest.[3] By 2531 it had a population of approximately three million. However, it became a site of conflict in 2531, caught up in the Human-Covenant War, after a Forerunner map on Harvest pointed the Arbiter towards the colony.[3] Though the Covenant were pushed off by the efforts of the crew of the Spirit of Fire, allowing much of its civilian populace to be evacuated, They would return to Arcadia later in the war, destroying it.
Trivia
- It may have been named after the actual Arcadia, a region south of Greece in the Peloponnesus.[4]
- The UNSC Pillar of Autumn was already at Arcadia when the Spirit of Fire came to the planet's aid[5].
