A theoretical union between the US, Canada, Mexico, and other local countries.

The United Republic of North America, or URNA, is an organization located in the continent of North America on Earth [1]. The URNA is a loose association between the nations of Canada, Mexico and the United States.[2] The republic is the site of many UNSC military bases and other facilities, partly because of the historical importance of North America, and New York City in particular, to the former United Nations.

Possible Origin

It may be that it is a descendant of the currently theoretical North American Union. The wording of the URNA description in the Halo Encyclopedia seems to suggest some sort of association between Mexico and the United States prior to the inclusion of Canada.[3]
