I want to put this [http://dojorkan.googlepages.com/Promethian_Guard_Group_Picture_by_Ce.jpg image] on my profile without hosting it here, I dont want to eat up Halopedia's space. Is there anyway I can make a thumbnail image of this offsite image just like I would with a image that was hosted here?

About Offsite Images[edit]

I want to put this image on my profile without hosting it here, I dont want to eat up Halopedia's space. Is there anyway I can make a thumbnail image of this offsite image just like I would with a image that was hosted here? —This unsigned comment was made by Dojorkan (talkcontribs). You'd have to manually upload a thumb image offsite and then use this code: [(address of big image) (address of thumb image)], and use div codes to move it around the page. --Dragonclaws(talk) 02:58, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
In truth, Halopedia has techically unlimited space, so you don't really have to host anything from off site. -ED 21:37, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Well, obviously not unlimited, but that's what the upload page says, so you might want to change it, although the immediately subsequent point is still valid. guesty-persony-thingy 21:40, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Oh we just say that because we don't need duplicate images; they're harder to organize and altogether unnecessary. I believe we actually do have unlimited space, even if we try hard not to fill it up with clutter. -ED 21:43, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Well, although I understand your point and you understand the point I'm about to make, I'm going to make it anyway: You do have tons of space, but unlimited is impossible, even if just because of technical limitations. :P guesty-persony-thingy 21:46, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
That's true. How about: We theoretically should have unlimited space, but technological constraints make that truily impossible. heh heh. -ED 21:47, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
