Template:Ship Template:ArticleName The Covenant Supercruiser is a classification of Covenant battleship that is one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful, capital ship in the Covenant armada. Its keel length is over three times that of the U.N.S.C. Marathon-class heavy cruiser - over 3.5 kilometers.
It is armed with five or more Energy Projectors, extremely powerful beam guns that fire a lance of highly energized particles at lightspeed that can lance through dozens of layers of titanium armor plating or decks. A single hit can spear through battleplating, destroy a starship's reactor, and essentially destroy it by removing its ability to fire its MAC cannon or manuever by its fusion drives. It has an effective range of over 100,000 kilometers, allowing it to "snipe" ships from afar.
In addition, its deflector shields are extremely powerful, being able to resist a nuclear mine explosion or even hold against three MAC rounds and nearly five hundred Archer missiles.
One of these warships led the Covenant invasion of Reach, but was destroyed by the Pillar of Autumn. Template:CovenantShips
