— Marketplace description.[1]

The Mythic II Map Pack is a DLC map pack, created by Bungie for Halo 3. The Mythic II Map Pack was released as part of the Halo 3: Mythic disc included with the release of Halo 3: ODST on September 22, 2009, before becoming available for purchase on the Xbox LIVE marketplace on February 2, 2010, selling for 800 Microsoft Points.[2][1] In July 2017, along with all other Halo 3, Halo 4, and Halo: Reach DLC map packs, the Mythic Map Packs were made free to those on Xbox Live.[3] All Mythic Map Pack content is included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Summary[edit]

The icon of the Mythic Map Packs is an alternate version of the difficulty icon known as Mythic. The knives are replaced with Battle Rifles and the Mythic Skull replaces the Elite Skull. It is to be noted that Mythic has been known as a non-existent difficulty above Legendary, though Bungie has mentioned it several times on Bungie.net.

Content[edit]

The Mythic II Map Pack contains three additional multiplayer maps:

  • Included in both the Mythic Map Pack and Mythic II Map Pack are one human, one Covenant, and one Forerunner-themed map.
