I think it should be merged. The Article itself is a very short one, and unless someone can suddenly come up with a bunch of information, it should be put on the Plasma Cannon page. -Umos 'Qikost Sword-wielding Minors and Shining Blue Spiders Comm 17:38, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Different Name for the H2 Plasma Turret[edit]
So thanks to my copy of Halo Evolutions, I have discovered that the short story Palace Hotel, a retelling of some of the events Spartan-117 went through during the battle of New Mombasa, labels the H2 portable plasma turret as a Type-42 DESW...NOT H3's Type-52 DESW. So...great! I was upset that we had next to no information or pictures on the article about the Halo 2 version of the plasma canon and I was disappointed that many considered them to be the canonically same. But now everything's good and we can finally split the articles.--Nerfherder1428 02:29, January 5, 2010 (UTC)
