The Clan Battles of Sanghelios was a war on Sanghelios, before the War of Beginnings, between several Sangheili clans that lasted for several cycles. At least some of the battles were fought in isolation in the forest of Tarjak.[1] 'Crecka fought alongside the uncle of Ussa 'Xellus in sixteen of the battles, where he lost one of his eyes in battle, and earned the nickname "Quillick" for his skill as a scout.[2]
