:I read somewhere it's an acronym for the German word for Paratrooper, but I don't know the word. Also, as with the rest of the armor, the part before the "/" is not part of the name, but the catagory it's in, like "Patrol/, Assault/, etc.", so they don't need to be called "FJ/PARA" in every instance, as they are "PARA" knees and shoulders, like how the ODST chest is called "UA/ODST" (because it adds armor) but is simply called "ODST".
