405th's logo

405th.com is a website dedicated to Halo costuming or cosplay and model making which started in 2006. It is named after a UNSC Marine Corps unit mentioned in the Halo 2 E3 Demo.

Trivia

On October 19, 2013, China Central Television's news program New Defense Observations mistook an cosplay image from 405th.com for prototype powered armor concepts being developed for the US military. The image depicted two cosplayers costumed as a UNSC Marine and a SPARTAN-II in MJOLNIR Mark VI.[1]
