The Bonus Map Pack was the first downloadable content package for Halo 2.

Release

It was released on April 25, 2005 as a free download sponsored by Mountain Dew.[1] This download was required in order to play Halo 2 Matchmaking over Xbox Live before its shutdown in 2010.

Content

The Bonus Map Pack added two new maps to Halo 2; Containment and Warlock.

Trivia

The Bonus Map Pack content is also included in the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack and the PC version of Halo 2.
