The UNSC Onan, hull classification symbol DDA-147, is a United Nations Space Command freighter.[1]

The Onan is a small, "boxy" freighter, essentially a hanging rectangular box in space without external appendages.[2] On its interior, it is perfectly bilinear symmetrical, with two perfectly equal sides. Conveyor belts run throughout the length of the ship, carrying metal crates that have cargo shipments. Various control panels are located along the mid-line of the vessel.

It was orbiting the dark side of Earth during the Battle of Earth, and was positioned directly between Earth and Luna.
