UNSC Nereid was a United Nations Space Command mixed cargo hauler[1]. In October of 2558 it was knocked out of slipstream space in the wake of the Created uprising, leaving it powerless and stranded.
Trivia
This ship was originally created by a Halo fan named "calamitySi", who gave permission to the creators of the Halo: Tales from Slipspace to use the design in the book.[2]
