Template:Multiplayer Map Infobox Template:Article Quote The Proving Grounds is a multiplayer map in Halo Wars 2. The map is exclusively playable in the Blitz gametype, and was included in the second beta of the game.[1] This map is also used for Blitz Firefight.
Description
The Proving Grounds is set on Installation 00, and is largely symmetrical. Each side of the map has a team base, and the centre is dominated by three control points - A, B and C.
Themes
With the May 2017[2] multiplayer update, two new visual themes were added for this map:
Sirocco
Desert/Tropical visual variant of The Proving Grounds.
Nocturne
Nighttime visual variant of The Proving Grounds.
Players have a random chance of playing on any of the three variations of The Proving Grounds in the Blitz PVP and Blitz Firefight playlists.
