Sergeant Lian Devereaux is an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper of the 10th Shock Troops Battalion. She is trained as a pilot.[1]

Biography

In January 2553, she and two other ODSTs, Staff Sergeant Malcolm Geffen and Corporal Vasily Beloi, were hand-picked by the Office of Naval Intelligence to serve under Captain Serin Osman in a covert operations team known as Kilo-Five. They were sent to Sanghelios to sow a war to destablize the region. [2]

Devereaux served as Kilo-Five's pilot, transporting the team on various missions on the dropship she nicknamed "Tart-Cart", while operating from UNSC Port Stanley.[3]

Trivia

Based on her accent, Malcolm Geffen surmised she was from northeast Canada. This combined with her surname suggests French-Canadian descent. Her appearance indicates Asian ancestry.[1]
