:It is definitely a tricky one. The audio log that had Screecleaver shared the same format with several other audio logs, and they appear to have a mix of titles, roles, and ranks: High Sumpter (Outpost Intel 1), Pioneer Guard (Outpost Intel 3), Grenadier (Outpost Intel 5), Blademaster (Outpost Intel 8), Screecleaver (Outpost Intel 9), Siegeburner (Outpost Intel 11), Scoutmaster (Outpost Intel 13), and Captain (Outpost Intel 15). However, I have noticed that in [https://www.halowaypoint.com/news/canon-fodder-of-protocols-and-prisons this Canon Fodder], whereas [[Jopmop]], [[Durakkus]], and [[Vimo 'Arach]] (also a Screecleaver) all carry the "Commander" prefix, Bannix's rank seems to be omitted, along with [[Thav 'Sebarim]], who is identified as a Kaidon. It could be a case where Bannix is a Commander within the Banished, and a Screecleaver within his clan (not unlike Warlords who are Captains or Chieftains in their clan, but carrying the role of Warlord - the Enc22 isn't particularly clear on this either).
