: If you gave a Marvel artist a picture of an assault carrier from the angle that it was drawn in the comic and the artist didn't see what the ship looks like from any other angle, the pictures in this article is what would probably be drawn. I'm 90% certain this is supposed to be a standard assault carrier. The overall shapes and details seem to fit if viewed from those angles. Marvel artists drawing Halo spacecraft are given still images at various angles and they draw what they see. Not saying the page can't still be here as an unidentified ship, but I was quite surprised to stumble across this page. I think it's just an assault carrier from an artist not used to Halo or drawing spacecraft. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 11:09, 28 September 2013 (EDT)

::While the comic rendition of the ship does look an awful lot like an assault carrier, the article wasn't created in response to the images in the comic book; rather, it's based on the descriptions of the ship from the original novel. Captain Keyes' reaction, and the descriptions of the ship's capabilities, in The Fall of Reach imply that the vessel was clearly different from an ordinary Covenant ship - an assault carrier would've been immediately familiar to Keyes. Why it's depicted as an assault carrier in the comic is probably just the Marvel artist being a Marvel artist and taking whatever reference he can find without actual knowledge of the subject matter. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 10:11, 29 September 2013 (EDT)
