Sangheili
In Sangheili culture, Aristocrats are those who are skilled enough in the use of Energy Swords to be given personal swords of their own. Once an Aristocrat recieves his sword, he is no longer eligible for marriage for ceremonial reasons, but may mate with any female they wish, married or unmarried, in order to pass his "swordsman" genes down to the next generation.[1] It is likely that Councilors are aristocrats, as well as Zealots[2] and Ultra's,[3] because all have been seen wielding swords.
