The 405th, often participated in hot orgies with cortana, resulting in a daily loss of marines. the chief soon went rampant, and raped everyone of them, ensuring that they would never again bang that hoe. the chief soon offered up installation 04 as an engagement ring for cortana, she denied him, he then left keyes to be infected, and destroyed the halo. pissed off, he killed every remaining officer or recruit of the unsc, every chance he got. every time, an oblective was handed his way, the only thing that, convinced him to accept, was all the blood that could be spilt. he went mad, and developed an ark on earth, giving the covenant easy access to the humans home world, and he redirected high charities destination to the second ark, causing mass destruction to all sentient life, he then returned to the halo over the ark, shot searge in the head, activated the ring and stole a unsc ship. In the end, he mysteriously dissappeared, but what really happened was, he got a new disquise as a space marine and left in search for an outlying forerunner colony, to which he can locate a ring and destroy earth. he will then make millions of babies using the flood, and just for kicks, massacre another entire lifeform. c'mon marathon...

The 405th is a UNSC Marine Corps unit.

Background

The 405th is based out of Diego Garcia. They arrived on scene during the First Battle of Earth in Mombasa, Kenya on Earth. They went on to fight on the city streets of New Mombasa valiantly. [1]

The 405th assisted SPARTAN-117 in the destruction of a Scarab that was moving through the city [2]. Surviving members of this unit then traveled to Installation 05 along with SPARTAN-117 aboard the UNSC In Amber Clad. It is assumed all, or almost all of them, were killed in either the Battle of the Quarantine Zone or, although more unlikely, the First Battle of High Charity. It is also possible that they were infested by the Flood and became some of the combat forms that spilled out on the In Amber Clad.
