:I haven't been able to read Hunters in the Dark yet, but my understanding was that Armigers were some kind of prototype for the later Promethean Soldier. I think I prefer the idea of the Armiger being the name for the class, ie; the Knight having different sub-classes, with Soldier and Captain as sub-classes for it. Armigers and Soldiers[edit]
It is my understanding that Promethean Soldiers are just a type of armigers: "with multiple types used by various factions within the Forerunner ecumene". So, for now, I'll keep the Soldiers and armigers page separate. - NightHammer (talk) 23:37, 19 June 2015 (EDT)
