:I haven't been able to read Hunters in the Dark yet, but my understanding was that Armigers were some kind of prototype for the later Promethean Soldier. I think I prefer the idea of the Armiger being the name for the class, ie; the Knight having different sub-classes, with Soldier and Captain as sub-classes for it. Armigers and Soldiers[edit]

I haven't been able to read Hunters in the Dark yet, but my understanding was that Armigers were some kind of prototype for the later Promethean Soldier.
