Like many Sangheili, he was disdainful of the [[Kig-Yar]], believing things would turn for the worst if they were given better ships and weapons. During the [[Human-Covenant War]] he helped [[Raia 'Mdama]], his grand-niece, maintain the [[Bekan keep]]. He taught the children at the keep basic combat skills and the art of swordsmanship.
