Honestly, it looks better with a background rather than a transparent one/without one.— subtank 18:43, 11 December 2011 (EST)

I suppose so. Actually, I was kinda hoping Jugus could do that transparent thing Jugus often does with stuff like the Plasma Battery image he did over the original. I'm still trying to figure out how he does that, but so far have had little success in my search. --Xamikaze330 19:52, 11 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330

First, I take the screenshot against a featureless background that is similarly colored as the transparent parts. Usually, it works the best with a blue sky, since energy fields tend to be blue. Then, I cut out the transparent parts in Photoshop, move them to a different layer, and lower its opacity to something that looks like a good approximation of the transparency in the game.
I guess it might be possible to make this work with this image, but it's harder and would require more manual modification with brushes and such, given the stark angles and shapes in the background. I agree the image would look more natural with a full background rather than just part of a background showing up from behind the field. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 00:44, 12 December 2011 (EST)

I see. I guess I'll upload a new one, but the only problem with the cropped version is that it still has a part of the MA5B reticule still in the original image. But if that's okay, then I'll do it. --Xamikaze330 13:16, 12 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330
