In ''[[Halo: Combat Evolved]]'', Covenant supply cases were static scenery objects; designer [[Jaime Griesemer]] estimated there were likely 6,000 crates across the campaign. Starting with ''[[Halo 2]]'' which adopted [[Wikipedia:Havok (software)|Havok]], the supply cases became dynamic physics objects.
