The plot starts in the year [[2560]]. The [[UNSC Infinity]] has been destroyed by [[Atriox]]'s Banished forces above [[Installation 07|Zeta Halo]]. The Master Chief battles Atriox onboard the Infinity, but is defeated and cast into space above the ring. He floats in space for 6 months before being found by [[Fernando Esparza|The Pilot]].
