Cascade Stronghold Technologies is a human corporation located in Mindoro, Lhopat on Cascade.[1] As of 2558, the corporation's current chief executive officer is a former Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, a fact which has led to the company's pursuits in adapting ODST armor the various MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor platforms.[2]

History[edit]

Cascade Stronghold Technologies had facilities in New Mombasa prior to the destruction of the city during the Battle of Earth.[3] In 2556, a facility was under "active investigation" by ONI after the Sedra terrorist attack.[4]

As of 2558, the company's chief executive officer was a former Orbital Drop Shock Trooper,[2] a fact which likely influenced the company's work with ODST armor and the creation of several variants of MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor fashioned after this armor style. By 2555,[5] Cascade Stronghold Technologies had developed the Helljumper armor for the MJOLNIR GEN2 platform.[2] By 2558, the company had also ported the ODST armor and its hostile environment variant to the MJOLNIR GEN2 armor.[1][6] However, Cascade would not only work with derivatives of ODST armor. Circa 2558, the company created the Ricochet variant which was tailored specifically for Spartans to use in Ricochet matches within War Games.[7] By 2560, Cascade had developed the Firefall and Stormfall helmets for the MJOLNIR GEN3 platform.[8][9]

Production notes[edit]

A Cascade Stronghold Technologies building was set to appear in the Halo Online map Icebox. The game was ultimately cancelled, but the map was added to the Halo 3 component of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
