- Border security at Checkpoint Rhoen on Sedra is forced to enact eight seizures on incoming ships. One of these raids yields highly refined fissile material. Laban Neir requests for an increase in equipment and personnel.[1]

- Checkpoint Rhoen is given management of planetary access in sectors four, five, and seven after two Office of Naval Intelligence D79-TC Pelicans are sent to Sedra.[1] Upon arrival, the ONI unit asks for twenty-five percent of Sedran Colonial Guard assets to aid them in their operations.[2]
February 7
- Sedra City is attacked by a Sangheili terrorist.[3]
- Lieutenant Commander Jameson Locke's team and the Sedran Colonial Guard conduct a mission to Alpha Shard. Only Locke and Macer survive.[3] Locke is later recruited into the SPARTAN-IV program, and is assigned to sensitive operations in the Outer Colonies.[4]
- 1600 hours: Ader Haddak transmits a report about the attack.[5]

- Scientist and test pilot Anarosa Carmelo is killed in an accident. The smart AI, Isabel, is created from her brain shortly afterward.[6][7]

- Melody Azikiwe and the artificial intelligence construct, Adalbert, translate recorded conversations found within the black-box recovered from the Covenant Ket-pattern battlecruiser, Undiminished Entelechy.

- Believe, a musical event performed by the UNSC Symphony Orchestra, takes place at the UNSC Symphony Hall at 1930 hours. It is centered on remembering Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 and his service to the UNSC.[9]

- R. Dellert sends a message to Terrence Hood as part of an ongoing conversation between the two concerning interspecies relations. In it, he lets Hood know that he has learned of an operation wherein Fireteam Apollo was deployed to the exclusion zone around Threshold in violation of the Treaty of 2552. Dellert advises Hood to confront Admiral Margaret Parangosky about the matter. He also sends Hood data in the form of a translated conversation between Thel 'Vadamee and the Prophet of Stewardship that was recovered from the black-box of Undiminished Entelechy by Apollo.[10]

- The Shadow of Intent returns to active duty, accompanied by unidentified logistical support craft, to pacify rogue faction forces in the Urs system.[11]
After November 7
- On board the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn, Cortana, showing clear signs of rampancy, files a report on the history of the Forerunners and humanity.[12]

- Rion Forge participates in a four-way bidding war for a small piece of a Forerunner navigational databoard at a small bazaar on Komoya. After winning the bidding war, she sells it for a large profit, despite the damage the device had sustained.[13]

- Cleyell is glassed by a remnant of the Covenant. The UNSC Cascadia deploys Army and Marine search-and-rescue teams led by Sergeant Holly Tanaka to relieve the stranded colonists on the surface.[14] After the mission, Captain French recommends Tanaka to the SPARTAN-IV program. She is recruited shortly after by Jun-A266.[15]
- The MLRS-1 Hydra enters service.[16]
- The Twin-plated forearms are used for the first time with the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor (GEN2), after being prototyped with (GEN1) years ago.[17]
- A complete withdrawal of Forerunner shield pylons on Alluvion's Sundark Sea causes the sea to collapse on those who remained within the Liang Dortmund's Alluvion Research Center.[18]
- During a routine search conducted on Beta Gabriel's Cortez Ocean, the crashed Covenant carrier Splendid Intention's remains suddenly shift from its resting place in the Aleutian Rim and violently slide down a nearby trench, sending debris and water in Fathom Station's northern terminal, tearing the complex apart, and killing forty-one researchers. Splendid Intention and the twenty-three explorers trapped inside the carrier are lost, and operations at Fathom Station are discontinued.[19]
