The M302 Class-1 Guided Missile Launching System (GMLS),[1] otherwise known as a M302 rocket pod, is a rocket launcher mounted on some experimental models of the AV-30 Kestrel.[2][3]
Overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
The M302 rocket pod is mounted underneath the GAU-10/A heavy autocannon on each wing of the AV-30 Kestrel.[4] The weapon is classed as a Class-1 Guided Missile Launch System - compared to the Class-2 GMLS M651 missile launcher used on the AV-14 Hornet.
Usage[edit]
The GAU-10/A was employed on a Kestrel used during the Battle of Installation 03.[4]
