Carinae Station is a UNSC outpost. In July 2557, Captain Andrew Del Rio ordered the UNSC Infinity to set a course for Carinae once they had escaped from Requiem.[1]
Sometime following the defeat of Cortana at Installation 07 in late 2559, Carinae was the subject of a simulation conducted by Sloan, High Auxiliary of the remnant Created forces. In the simulation, Carinae housed the Durance containing Spartan Edward Davis' memories and essence, with the Executor tasked with attacking the station to recover the durance. During the simulation, the Executor failed numerous times, with the station's security personnel able to load the Durance into a Jennet-class intrasystem hauler for evacuation.[2][3] It is unclear whether this simulated attack represents a true reality, and whether Davis' Durance is actually housed on Carinae Station remain unknown.
