Gorian was a Jiralhanae in service of the Banished's Bloodstars under the clan Witch's Eye.[2]
Biography
Gorian was among the many Banished soldiers on Installation 07 following the ambush on UNSC Infinity in December, 2559. During the Battle for Zeta Halo, an explosion at the Silent Auditorium fractured the ring. Gorian was surveying a chokepoint with a Jiralhanae Captain when they picked up the scent of Spartan Tomas Horvath.[3][4]

Gorian and his Phantom crashed on a fragment of the ring, where he was rescued by the Horvath.[5] The two formed a truce until they could escape the fragment.[6]

Following his escape, Gorian and Jega 'Rdomnai captured and tortured ONI operative Kate Stalling for months for information and stole her research. Gorian eventually abandoned Stalling to die and headed for one of the Conspectus network hubs. By the time that Horvath found Stalling, she was in terrible state from the torture, but she was able to tell him of Gorian's actions and where he had gone before committing suicide in order to end her suffering. Enraged, Horvath became determined to hunt down and kill Gorian.[7]
On April 26, Gorian and 'Rdomnai reached the Conspectus hub and used a human prisoner of war as a Reclaimer to retrieve a data node containing information on Zeta Halo's current coordinates and the ring's defensive systems. Observing the proceedings, Spartan Bonita Stone attacked the excavation team, aiming to retrieve the data node and disrupt Escharum's plans. After Stone succeeded in stealing the node, Gorian, driving a Banished Ghost, grabbed and dragged the Spartan before she managed to break free, attempting to reach the surface and killing a number of Banished forces, including Hectarius whom Gorian ordered to stay out of the fight, wanting to kill Stone himself. 'Rdomnai eventually managed to sneak up on and kill Stone who allowed them to take the data node before she died. However, Gorian and 'Rdomnai were unaware that Stone had had Ouco copy the data into her armor and corrupt the node itself, rendering it useless to the Banished.[8] Gorian and 'Rdomnai then joined the Banished forces attempting to reach the Conservatory and Monitor 117649 Despondent Pyre.[9]
On May 14, Gorian led reinforcements from the Conservatory to one of Zeta Halo's beacon towers where the Banished were in battle against the boat crew. Armed with a Type-25 Brute Shot, Gorian faced off against Horvath who was armed with a pulse carbine stolen from a dead Sangheili. Horvath and Gorian entered into a game of cat-and-mouse with Horvath quickly running out of places to hide and Gorian exhausting his ammo. As Gorian expended the last of his ammo, Horvath managed to drain his shields with a spike grenade provided by Robin Dimik, putting them on even footing before expending his carbine saving Dimik from two Kig-Yar. Gorian followed Horvath onto the overlook and tackled him, but Horvath punched the hit of an energy sword provided to him earlier by Erik Bender into the side of Gorian's ribcage and activated it, cutting through bone, tissue and organs before coming out on the other side of Gorian's ribecage. Gorian was killed, but as the two fighters fell upon a translocation pad, they were teleported to another part of the ring just before the pad was destroyed by a Banished Thrasher missile.[10] Teleported to a partially collapsed mountain facility very far away from the beacon tower, Horvath shoved Gorian's body off the side of the mountain.[11]
