Isaac Hannaford

Isaac Hannaford, aka Rhizus, is a lead concept artist at Bungie and freelance illustrator. He was responsible in particular for creating a significant number of environmental, equipment and character designs for Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach; examples include Reach's revamped MJOLNIR Mark V armor, the look of UNSC Army troopers and the Sabre fighter craft.[1] He has also worked on some of the cover illustrations of the Halo novels and comics, including those of Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, Halo: Contact Harvest, Halo: The Cole Protocol, Halo: New Blood,[2] and Halo: Bad Blood, as well as Halo: Escalation Issues #20, #21, and #22 alongside Library Edition #2.[3] He also contributed several pages of artwork for Halo Mythos, namely those covering the first years of the post-Covenant War era,[4] as well as Halo: Warfleet.[5] In addition, he has created the theme illustrations for several of the Halo Legendary Crates. He is also responsible for the cover art of Halo: The Complete Video Collection.[6] More recently, he has worked on Halo Infinite.[7]
