Alluvion was a human colony world, likely among the inner colonies.[2]
History
The colony was attacked by Covenant forces under Thel 'Vadamee during the Human-Covenant War in late 2542 or early 2543. Spartan Gabriel Thorne's parents were UNSC Army officers stationed on the planet at the time. They, along with Alluvion's human population, died when the Covenant glassed the planet.[2]
On 26 September, 2552, Alluvion was used as an example of the planets glassed by Covenant forces in ONI Agent Jameson Locke's target profile of Thel 'Vadamee.[3]
Sometime after the Human-Covenant War a simulation of Alluvion, and a location on the planet known as "Escape from ARC" in the Warzone simulations, was used by Spartan Commander Sarah Palmer to introduce Warzone to Spartans.[4]
Trivia
Alluvion is the setting for the Halo 5: Guardians Warzone map "Escape from ARC", as well as several other yet unrevealed maps.[5]
