The Shadow of Intent is the flagship of the Fleet of Retribution, as its Ship Master is Rtas 'Vadum. 'Vadum commands the Shadow of Intent during the Human-Covenant War as he originally supported the Covenant and the High Prophets "great journey" before he discovered the true purpose of Halo with the help of The Arbiter, Thel 'Vadam. After becoming a superb leader of the Covenant Seperatists, 'Vadum commanded his fleet (along with theIntent) to aid humanity against the High Prophet of Truth along with the Flood. After the war ended, with Truth and the Gravemind destroyed, the Arbiter and 'Vadum returned to their home world, Sanghelios.
