I was just wondering how we know its a Station and named Onan? I guessed i missed something so could some one tell me?--UNSCOH COL. "Running Riot" Ryan BAMFile:Colonel.png 12:59, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
I'm wondering that myself. I never heard that name anywhere before. A Google search for "Onan Station" brings up only five sites, only two of which have anything to do with Halo. The first link is to Halopedia's article for Longest, and the second is to a now-defunct fansite that was hosted by Southern Baptist University. I can't find the manual that came the Halo 2 Map Pack disc, but I'll see if it gives the name of wherever Elongation is located. If there's no mention of this "Onan Station," I'll send a message to an admin to see if I can't get them to remove this article on grounds of it being fancruft.

Well, I checked the Map Pack manual, and sure enough, Elongation is not located on Onan Station. Rather, it takes place on a cargo vessel. There is no place called "Onan Station" in the Halo canon. I will nominate this article for deletion, and refer it to an admin.
Edit: My plans to nominate this article for deletion have been rescinded upon looking up more information. While Elongation does indeed take place on a cargo ship (further confirmed by the "Making Of" documentary on the Map Pack disc), the ship is indeed named "Onan." There is a large decal at either end of the stage (right above the Brute Shot spawn) showing the ship's registry. Therefore, the article should not be deleted, but rather retitled and rewritten.
