Overview

Design details

Main article: Bolroci Workshop Chopper

As a modified variant of the Bolroci Workshop Chopper, the Catulus Chopper is equipped with gold plating in place of the standard red plating. The spike cannons fire at a higherrate of fire. It deploys energy blades on the front and sides when boosting.[2]

Usage

As its name suggests, the Catulus Chopper was originally the personal war-chariot commissioned by Banished Jiralhanae Commander Catulus.[4] By 2560, during the Battle for Zeta Halo, Catulus Choppers were employed by personnel other than Catulus, with one such vehicle used by Hyperius, a Jiralhanae Spartan Killer that was sent to intercept John-117.[3]

In-game information

In campaign, the Catulus Chopper can only be encountered during the boss battle with Hyperius during the level Pelican Down.[3] In multiplayer, the Catulus Chopper is available as a Forge item and appears in certain matchmade Big Team Battle games. The Catulus Chopper fires its spike cannon at a higher rate of fire than the standard Chopper, but with reduced damage.
