The AN/PED-560 Vedette is a drone controller operated by the United Nations Space Command.[1]

Overview

Design details

The AN/PED-560 is a small portable device. Originally designed as an enhanced rangefinder and target designators, some field operatives can modify the Vedette into a surveillance drone. Its compatible with the Rakshasa armor for Spartan-use, although it can be also used by non-augmented operatives.[2][3]

Development history

The AN/PED-560 Vedette was manufactured by the Materials Group.[1]

Operational history

ONI Captain Veronica Dare used a modified Vedette device nicknamed "Eddie" during Operation: SONATA to survey a "recruitment" organized by the Yonhet broker M'raad. During the Battle of Suban early 2560, Spartan "Glyyss" from Fireteam Jorogumo was also equipped with an AN/PED-560 drone controller.[2][3]

In-game information

The AN/PED-560 Vedette is available for multiplayer Spartan armor customization on the Rakshasa armor core in Halo Infinite.
