Fireteam Jorogumo is a Spartan fireteam of the United Nations Space Command.[1][2] They are the security element assigned to work on Sanghelios as part of the treaty between the UNSC and Swords of Sanghelios.[3]

Fireteam Joromugo forgoes the typical fireteam structure of most Spartan teams, and is divided into individual squads: Jorumogo One and Joromugo Two. Each squad is deployed to distinct separate regions on Sanghelios to pursue various objectives aligned with the interests of the Arbiter, Thel 'Vadam. Each Spartan of Jorumogo is given a unique nickname derived from the Sangheili language, with origins and meaning only told to the given Spartan. This practice has been developed in the hopes of fostering co-operation between mixed-species units operating in the region.[3]
