Bipbap, also known as Bipbap the Vanquisher, was an Unggoy mercenary who served within the Banished and became known by the United Nations Space Command as one of the most dangerous Unggoy circa 2560.[1] During the Installation 07 conflict, Bipbap would be killed by John-117.[2]

Biography

Respected bodyguard

Bipbap was born on the Unggoy homeworld of Balaho. During the Human-Covenant War, he served as a bodyguard for high-ranking officials within the Covenant. While serving under Chieftain Tartarus, Bipbap earned a reputation for extreme ruthlessness for slaying scores of his own species after they sided with the Sangheili following the Great Schism.[1]

Assassin

After the Covenant collapsed in late 2552, Bipbap returned to Balaho and refashioned himself as an assassin for hire. He was so successful in this profession that his clan bestowed upon him the title of "Vanquisher." Later on, Bipbap became notorious for his multiple acts of widespread destruction on the colony of Venezia, where the damage wrought during the ruthless pursuit of his targets had resulted in over 830 human casualties.[1]

Banished service

At some point, Bipbap joined the Banished and served within Alpha Pack in the Ninth Combat Element of the Heart of Tala.[1] He participated in the Banished occupation of Installation 07 in 2560, during which time his location was discovered by the Weapon. She passed this information on to Spartan-II John-117, who tracked down and killed Bipbap.[2]

Equipment

During the Installation 07 conflict, Bipbap wore a maroon Ultra combat harness and carried a modified Disruptor called the Calcine Disruptor.[1][2]

Trivia

Bipbap's name is possibly a reference to the Halo 3: ODST ViDoc narrated by Sergeant Major Avery Johnson from which the iconic phrase "Bip. Bap. Bam!" originated.
