A network of Sangheili feudal raid lances were under the mercenary leadership of Ordo 'Mal. When the raid lances served as a mercenary unit within the Banished, they were known as Kaepra's Grief.TEMPLATE ERROR: Template using invalid/disallowed fields: "section"[1]
History
A full year after the Covenant fell and the Blooding Years had begun, Ordo 'Mal had been leading Sangheili raid lances to do mercenary work. Around early 2554, 'Mal was approached by Atriox who hired him and his forces into the Banished. They became known as Kaepra's Grief, with their leader earning the title of Wraithmaster after proving his utility to Escharum. Kaepra's Grief raided the UEG colony of Palghanar for loot, increasing 'Mal's kill count to 1,200.[1]
Kaepra's Grief participated in the Installation 07 conflict, where their leader Ordo 'Mal was killed by the Master Chief.[1]
