Guardian Forest

Guardian Forest was a planned level in Halo 3's campaign.^[1]

Description

The level would have introduced a new enemy called "the Guardian", a large Forerunner machine with an eye-mounted beam weapon which the player would have been able to wield as a weapon.^[1] Part of the level later became the multiplayer map Guardian, while another part (that involved a Hornet air battle) was transferred to a completely different level, The Covenant.^{[citation needed]}
